When to Open
Weekdays only. Open at 9:00–9:15 AM AZ during pre-market to scan gaps before the bell.
Trading Window
Entries only between 9:45–10:30 AM AZ. Never trade the first 15 minutes. After 10:30 — no new entries.
The One Rule
Set a 10% trailing stop in Fidelity immediately on every fill. No exceptions. This is your only exit rule.
The 6 Steps — Work Top to Bottom, Every Time
- Market Internals — is the broad market safe to trade?
- Pre-Market Gap — which stocks have news and volume?
- VWAP — is price above VWAP with confirming volume?
- First 30-Min Range — enter at 10:00 AM, get your breakout levels
- Early Warning — check for exhaustion before you buy
- Execute — position size, pre-execution checklist, buy
